About the event

Students will attend both classes.  Part 1: July 22nd 5:30 - 8:30 PM and Part 2: July 23rd 3- 5 PM

Supplies: Purchase your yarn at The Bloomin' Spindle and enjoy the 10% Yarn crawl discount.  Any worsted weight (Level 4) yarn in 3 colors.  Approx. 161 yards MC, 147 yds CC 1, 147 yds CC 2.  Hook - US I-9 (5.5 mm)  Waylen Bag by Sarah Korth can be purchased on Ravelry or purchased and printed in store.

All tools and supplies are available at The Bloomin' Spindle for an additional cost (Premade bags $3)

What you need to know: Basic crochet stitches like chains,double crochet, single crochet, and slip stitches.  You will also want to be comfortable reading stitches.

What you'll learn:  You'll learn the gorgeous textured stitch that makes up the body of the bag, a special technique for a gorgeous exposed seam at the bottom of the bag, how to work stitches into the top of the bag to avoid gaps, attaching the premade bag to the crocheted bag, how to make a professional looking tassel.
