Every Thursday is a KAL night here at The Bloomin' Spindle! The table is open for anyone who has signed up for a class but is still working on their piece. We also add a group project every month for people to come and work on a project together without a class if supplies are bought here.

Knit Along with us!
Join us every Thursday evening at 6 pm for fun with your fiber friends! Bring a beverage or snack and come start a new project with us. Knit-Alongs and Crochet-Alongs are a great way to work on a project without taking a class. The staff is here to answer questions if you need help, and your fiber friends will often offer support, too! Some folks join for the fun monthly project suggestions, and some are here to finish class projects. If you have purchased a class, or if you purchase your materials here at the Bloomin' Spindle, you can continue to work on your project on Thursdays for as long as you need to with no additional purchase.
This month, we are starting a new Knit-Along (KAL) & Crochet-Along (CAL) for the imfamous Emotional Support Chicken! Life is hard, everyone needs a chicken to make it better!
What you'll need:
- US 7 circular needles / US F crochet hook (or what you need to obtain gauge)
- 200-300 yards of worsted weight yarn for MC, 100 yards of worsted weight yarn for CC, 10 yards each for the crown, wattle, and beak*
- Emotional Support Chicken pattern KNIT or CROCHET by Annette Corsino (you can purchase this in shop and we'll print and sleeve it for you!)
*We'll have 10 yard butterfly bundles of yellow, orange, and maroon Ewe Ewe Wooly Worsted yarn in the shop for purchase
